Illustration Friday 02 - Polar

For polar i've pulled out an old idea.. a little violent... but is what happen at the end, and i'm not happy with it! :(

I'm not rly happy with the color and the shape of the blood, but i have no time to adjust it! :(
Made in painter and color retouch in photoshop.

I think that one day i'll redo it!

The idea of this one is born due to a fault of my eyes to see an icon drawed by a frined of mine... it was a face with a baloon on... and it was on an illustration called Antartic... but my great glassed eye have transformed it into a baby seal with giant knife in his body... :( and for a lot of time i was so envy to him for the power of that image... after a month relooking at his illo.. i've discovered that this image was in my head! :) ...and that I was in need of a new pair of glasses!!! :S
